Terms and Conditions for Merit Sleep Ltd (Merit Home)

By placing an order with Merit Sleep Ltd (Merit Home), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Each order constitutes a separate, legally binding contract. Please read these terms carefully. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court, it will not affect the validity of the remaining terms.

“Order”: Refers to your purchase request for goods.

“Goods”: All products listed in the order.

“Delivery”: The delivery of the goods to the specified address in your order.

 

2. Orders

You will receive an email confirmation for your order. If there are no issues raised within 48 hours of this confirmation, your order will be considered accepted by Merit Sleep Ltd.

 

3. Product Specifications

Due to the nature of our handmade and hand-painted products, slight variations in size and color may occur.

Any minor imperfections in glass products are natural characteristics of artisan craftsmanship, making each piece unique.

 

4. Changes to Your Order

If you wish to amend your order, please contact us. We will inform you if the change is possible and any resulting impact on price or delivery time.

 

5. Our Rights to Make Changes

We may make minor changes to the products:

 

To comply with changes in relevant laws and regulations.

To make minor technical adjustments or improvements for safety or functionality.

 

6. International Deliveries

International orders do not include customs fees, duties, taxes, or other applicable charges. You are responsible for these costs, which must be paid before delivery. Any failure to pay these charges may result in delays, storage fees, or the return of goods.

 

7. Right to Change Your Mind

If you are a consumer, you have the right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund, unless:

The product is customized or made-to-order.

 

 

8. Risk and Ownership

Ownership and risk pass to you upon delivery of the goods.

 

9. Guarantee

Our products are guaranteed for six months from the delivery date. This guarantee covers domestic use only and excludes damages due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repairs. If a defect is found, we will repair or replace the item or provide a refund.

 

10. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or failures to fulfill our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier delays, strikes, natural disasters, or transport issues.

 

11. Hanging Your Mirror

We recommend using professional services to hang your mirror. We are not liable for damages caused during installation or if the mirror falls. Please ensure you are using the correct fixings for your wall type.

 

12. Packaging for Returns

Original packaging must be used for all returns. If not, a £50 repackaging fee will apply.

 

13. Payments

We accept most credit and debit cards, PayPal, Clear Pay, Klarna, and Stripe. Payments are secure, and we do not store your card details.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We do not accept responsibility for any indirect or consequential losses.

 

15. Data Protection

We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your personal information will be used to process your order and may be shared with third parties, such as finance companies, where necessary.
